ITALIANSPED was founded in Genoa in 1970. Since 1987 it has been part of the SACMI Group, a world-leading provider of machines and complete plants to the Ceramics, Packaging, Food and Automation industries.

To ensure greater synergy with the parent company, ITALIANSPED moved its headquarters from Genoa to Imola. Being a SACMI Group member has allowed the company to gain wide-ranging experience with oversize loads and Project Cargo (i.e. shipments requiring a high level of expertise on account of the volume, weight and value of the transported systems, which require in-depth complex planning). Consequently, ITALIANSPED now plays a key role in the industrial and manufacturing sectors. ITALIANSPED has a worldwide multi-partner network: air, land, sea and rail carriers, plus a network of its own local offices and agents.
