On Wednesday 12th October the ITALIANSPED team took a lunch break with a difference.
Starting from 12.30, workers and managers from the Imola branch linked up on the internet with all the staff from the various branches and logistics centers, to participate in a ‘Sharing Skills’ meeting.
The event offered a great opportunity to share the skills and procedures needed to run the facilities, and to explore the key principles of the code of ethics, the core values that guide the company’s every action.
The cornerstone of the code of ethics is Sustainability, which is set to be the focus of a major plan to manage and progressively certify the Sustainability and Inclusiveness System to which ITALIANSPED will adhere from 2022, in agreement with the Sacmi Group.
As reiterated by the General Manager, Michele Mengoli, “Sustainability is everything: it’s inclusion, equal opportunities for men and women, attentiveness to the environment... it’s a conscious step towards a budding new society, it’s knowing the challenges that face us as we go about our daily business and uniting to face them boldly, energetically, yet kindly”.
It’s a worthy strategy. It’s a pragmatic commitment to transform everyday life both inside and outside the workplace by making the most of experience and merit and living more consciously and responsibly.
